Four outstanding Cuyahoga Heights Middle School (CHMS) students participated in the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) District 7 Honor Band on February 26 and 27 at Mentor High School. Composed of exceptional students from area school districts, the concert showcased the exceptional talents of CHMS’s Rhys Muñoz (baritone), Parker Skirkanic (trumpet), Ayden Jasany (tuba), and Claire Gannon (alto saxophone). The final concert in which they performed, was free and open to the public.
“Bravo to these impressive musical Red Wolves,’ said Band Director Noah Hamrick. “They prove day after day that they are ‘instrumental’ in Reaching New Heights!”
